I'll make you laugh, or break my neck trying. This is usually accomplished with daily bouts of swimming, biking and running. A former "chub-a-holic," I got fit and healthy the good old fashioned way and went from a mid-pack athlete to top age group runner and triathlete. I'm a Writer and USAT Level 1 Certified Triathlon Coach. I guess that makes me part Tina Fey and part Jillian Michaels. Visit my coaching site at www.fomotraining.com

Keeping Track on Race Day!

God Bless Erin for her incredible sense of creativity! Thanks for the M-Dot robots E!! Seriously, it's one of the coolest gifts ever and I'm glad to see that both bots are smiling!
Shawn is #1410 and I'm #2244!
There are a couple of ways to follow our Race Day progress this Sunday:
1.) www.ironmanlive.com will have coverage throughout the day and you can plug in our race numbers and track our progress. Keep in mind that we'll be on the bike for a long...long...long time (6-7 hours) and you may not see updates until about 1/2 way through the bike at the 56 mile split when we start loop 2. I'm also not sure how often they'll update run splits.
2.) My Twitter account is apparently set (thanks Jane!) to send updates throughout the day. So, sign up for updates on my twitter at @dotthem.
3.) Guest Bloggers--I'm going to have some friends and spectators log in here at www.triobefunny.com randomly throughout the day to give updates on our progress!
Let the fun begin!!

Those Ironman robots are awesome! I cannot wait to sit on my butt most of Sunday (after my run of course) and keep track of you, Shawn, and a bunch of other people.

Whoo Hoo! Go Carrie! Ding-a-ding-a-ding-a-ding-a-ding!!! (lots of cowbell)
