I'll make you laugh, or break my neck trying. This is usually accomplished with daily bouts of swimming, biking and running. A former "chub-a-holic," I got fit and healthy the good old fashioned way and went from a mid-pack athlete to top age group runner and triathlete. It's amazing the pain we put ourselves through when we don't have children!! Instead of sleeping in and staying out late we go to bed early, get up early and cause a lot of pain in between...enjoy your taper!!

Love the advice you got about taking things one at a time and all the highs and lows that will be part of the event. (Ain't that the truth!?!)
