A former "chub-a-holic," I got fit and healthy the good old fashioned way and went from a mid-pack athlete to top age group runner and triathlete. MRI on hip tomorrow. Will hopefully answer some questions! Mama needs to run!!!!

Good luck, Carrie. I just had an MRI on my hip (of course 6 weeks before IMWI) and found I had a stress reaction in that area and am off the run for a few weeks. I've decided to follow the doctor's advice for once and that rest is better than pushing it. It's so hard not to run but once you know the alternative (for me, plate and pins in my hip)it's easier to follow. Keep us updated!
