I'll make you laugh, or break my neck trying. This is usually accomplished with daily bouts of swimming, biking and running. I saw this photo posted on www.xtri.com from last weekend's Oceanside 70.3 race. If this is legal, what the hell have I been busting my butt for?!?! That's it...my Vespa scooter has just officially become my new tri bike.
SO FUNNY. We were seriously talking about this last night at our Red Licorice meeting. It IS legal! If we weren't friends, I would dump water in your tube if you wore it...
Yeah, I read on some tri forum those were ligeal.. crazy eh? I bet we're gonna start seeing them more and more... PS - Nice job on your first tri of the season, great pics too! P

There was one person in my wave last week that used a snorkel..is that some high tech snorkel?!
yup it's legal. You do get a 5 minute penalty for looking like a dork though.
It might be more fun to combine this with a shark fin on the back, for those ocean swims
This really cracked me up!
And a 5 min penalty is just not enough, imo!

Yes, snorkels are legal in many local tris in my area. But I thought they were not in Ironman races. Guess the rules have changed.
That just isn't right! All the wasted time on perfecting my stroke when I could just get some scuba tanks and swim underwater.

Holy cow. I totally need one of those.
That would be awesome! I'm such a slow swimmer that it might actually be worth the 5 minute penalty. But no, I'll resist the urge to try it.
